Says Who? Third Party Certification at HD Green Day

April 24, 2009

Let’s take the green colored glasses off when it comes to third-party product certification. TODL.com, along with our partner, Green it Group, is coordinating a seminar and panel discussion focused on third-party certification at HD Expo’s - Green Day Conference, May 13, 2009, in Las Vegas. This educational session covers the ins and outs of green product certification and an overview of ISO Environmental Labeling Guidelines. From single attribute claims to multi-attribute life cycle based certification, join us to learn which certifications are currently available and how they deem products as 'green'. Also learn how various product certifications relate to the LEED rating system.

After the seminar, a panel of third-party certifiers will be assembled allowing the opportunity to engage with representatives from SCS, GreenGuard, and B Corporation as they address the complexity of the certification market addressing topics such as certification cost, multi-attribute certification vs. single attribute certification, and the controversy surrounding certifications.

If you are a manufacturer, specifier, designer, or building owner and have questions about third-party certification, this will be the ideal platform to learn and share. See you there!
